Giannis Parikos .
Twenty-five years ago, after completing his studies in culinary arts, Chef Giannis Parikos started his career at “Varoulko Seaside” restaurant and continued at the 2-Michelin-Star “Spondi” restaurant.
Armed with love and determination, he worked at the 3-Michelin-Star restaurant “Epicure” of the Parisian Hotel Bristol with the acclaimed Chef Eric Frechon. His next stop was at the 2-Michelin-Star “Sea Grill” housed at the Radisson Blu Hotel alongside the renowned Chef Yves Mattagne.
Making the homeward journey in 2009, he worked at “Hytra” restaurant, receiving his first Michelin Star.
Since then, Chef Giannis Parikos has been the Executive Chef at the “Water” restaurant of the SaniResort in Halkida, at the “Life Gallery” hotel and at the “Cash” restaurant in Athens, gaining deep knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry and its operations.
In 2017, he returned at “Varoulko Seaside” restaurant in Athens to receive his second Michelin Star.
Today, he is the co-owner of three gastronomical venues and the Executive Chef at the “Kooc Secrets” restaurant at Costa Navarino.
He is also the co-owner, managing director and Executive Chef of two new restaurants in the island of Paros, opening in Spring 2023.
He also consults and oversees several culinary projects among which the “Rocabella” Hotel in Santorini, the “Semeli” Group in Mykonos, the “Stilvi” restaurant in Paros and the “Iguazu” and “Dalliance” restaurants in Athens.
Chef Giannis Parikos has been collecting awards and distinctions since 2007 and for fifteen consecutive years he has been awarded the “Golden Chef’s Hat Award” by Athinorama.
